Kerala mein phir se ‘brain-eating amoeba’ ka naya case samne aaya hai. Thiruvananthapuram ke 17 saal ke ladke ko ye infection hua, jiske baad Health Department ne swimming pool band kar diya. Is saal ab tak 67 cases report huye hain aur 18 logon ki maut ho chuki hai.

Kerala mein ek aur ‘brain-eating amoeba’ (Naegleria fowleri) ka case samne aaya hai, jisne logon mein ghabrahat aur dar ka mahaul paida kar diya hai.

Naya Case Thiruvananthapuram mein

Kerala Health Department ke mutabiq, 16 September ko jari kiye gaye data mein pata chala ki Thiruvananthapuram ke 17 saal ke ek ladke ko brain-eating amoeba ka infection hua hai. Yeh ladka kuch din pehle Akkulam Tourist Village ke swimming pool mein apne doston ke saath gaya tha. Case ki pushti hote hi Health Department ne turant swimming pool ko band kar diya aur paani ke samples laboratory test ke liye bhej diye.

Kerala mein Ab Tak 67 Cases

Department ke hisaab se, is saal Kerala mein brain-eating amoeba ke 67 cases report huye hain. Inmein se 18 patients ki maut ho chuki hai. Sirf pichle hafte hi 5 logon ki jaan is infection ne le li thi.

Health Minister ka Bayan

Kerala ki Health Minister Veena George ne kaha ki is khatarnak infection se bachne ke liye strict guidelines follow karna zaruri hai. Unhone logon ko salah di:

• Gande ya thehre hue paani mein chehra dhone ya nahaane se bachein.

• Kuon aur swimming pools ko scientific tarike se clean karna mandatory ho.

• Water theme parks ko bhi hygienic maintenance rules follow karne honge.

Logon mein Badh Raha Dar

67th case ke baad aam janta mein aur zyada fear aur anxiety fail gayi hai. Health experts keh rahe hain ki public ko awareness aur preventive steps lena abhi sabse zaruri hai.
